About me

I started playing piano at the age of six with my father and then continued at the Manuel de Falla Municipal Conservatory in Buenos Aires, where I graduated as “Profesor Superior de Piano”. At the same time I was a member of the National Children’s Choir of Argentina from 1983 to 1987.
Since then I has performed at various concert halls in Buenos Aires, including the “Salón Dorado” at the Teatro Colón and I’ve toured around Asia, Europe and America with both classical and Tango performances.

Since 2001 I have focused on composition, arrangement, orchestration and musical production for films, TV series, shorts and documentaries both in Argentina, Spain and currently Italy. I composed the music for the plays “The resurrection of Hamlet” and “Te de reinas” both of which premiered in Buenos Aires and “Essere Gramsci” and “Nero Tango” premiered in Cagliari; for the film “Condon Express”, the documentary “Looking for Paradise” and “Paolina era la madre di Giulia” and various argentine, spanish and italian shorts.

I has worked as orchestrator, pianist, additional composer and music producer on the soundtracks of following movies including: “The Secret in Their Eyes” (OSCAR winner Best Foreign Language Film) , “The Getaway” (GOYA winner Best Ibero-American Film), “Passionate People”, “The Education of Fairies” (GOYA winner Best original song), “The Hands” (GOYA winner Best Ibero-American Film), “The Blind Sunflowers”, “Julia’s Eyes”, “Say I Do”, “Blinkers”, “Thieves”, “Neruda” (acclaimed in Cannes),“Triage”, “Lift Itself”, “Loving Pablo”, and for TV series such as “La señora”, “Gran Reserva”, “Hispania”, “Grand Hotel”, “Isabel” and series for Netflix like “Watership down” and “High seas”.

I have also composed works for concert hall for various chamber ensembles. My latests compositions include: “Fugitivo (tango de Marzo)” for chamber group commissioned by Fundación MusiZap, premiered in Teatro IFT di Buenos Aires, “Impresiones porteñas” for winds octet, commissioned by “Ensamble Académico de vientos”  and premiered in La Usina del Arte in Buenos Aires; “Preludio, Coral & Blue” for piano, clarinet and string quintet commissioned by “Sonor Ensemble” and premiered in Ateneo de Madrid.
